WINCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - The Clark County superintendent says a student brought a concealed weapon onto a school bus Wednesday.
In a recorded phone call that was sent to parents, Superintendent Paul Christy said, "the situation was immediately contained."
Christy said the student was taken into police custody. He said the weapon never made it to a school.
Christy went on to say the situation was not related to any recent incidents, referring to the murder of two 16-year-old girls the night before.
