Surveillance photos released in Clark Co. breaking and entering incident

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) – Officers have released surveillance photos of two men who are suspects in a breaking and entering incident in Clark County early Friday morning.

Police say they were called to a home on Jackson Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. after a resident reported there were two men at the side door of their home, one reportedly carrying a gun.

According to investigators, one of the two men forcefully entered the home while the resident was still on the phone with 911. The man reportedly ran off when they saw the resident was on the phone with emergency personnel.

The man who entered the home is described as an African-American man 5’4” tall, in his 20’s, and wearing a green hooded jacket and black bandana over half of his face. Investigators do not have a specific description of the second man involved.

No one was injured during the incident. Officers are asking anyone in the public who recognizes the men in the picture, or who has any information about the incident, to call them at (540) 662-4131, or contact Crimesolvers at (540) 665-TIPS.
