LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Three people are behind bars in Laurel County after a female was assaulted by her boyfriend, and police found meth on their property, according to an arrest report.
The Laurel County Sheriff's office arrested Nathan Lewis Hale, 38, after deputies say he fired a rifle at his girlfriend and then sprayed and hit her with a fire extinguisher.
Deputies, while conducting the investigation, discovered two females under the influence at the home and over 40 grams of crystal meth. Angela Diane Bowman, 35, and Cynthia Michelle Smith, 36, were arrested on multiple charges.
Hale is charged with 4th-degree assault, wanton endangerment, trafficking in a controlled substance and second-offense possession of meth, according to the arrest report.
Bowman is charged with public intoxication with controlled substances, and Smith is charged with the same charge. Additionally, she is charged with theft by failure to make required disposition due to removing her home incarceration bracelet.
All three individuals were booked in the Laurel County detention center.
