Toyota confirms positive coronavirus test at Georgetown plant

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Toyota confirms someone has tested positive for coronavirus at the Georgetown plant.

A spokesperson says the case involves an onsite vendor employee. That employee has not worked onsite since May 14.

Toyota says the employee will remain in self-isolation until they are cleared by a doctor.

Toyota employees returned to the Georgetown plant on May 11 after it was shut down for more than five weeks.
