Interstate 75 back open after tractor-trailer fire

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Northbound traffic was stopped for hours on Interstate 75 in Fayette County as crews extinguished a tractor-trailer fire.

The fire occurred around 10:30 a.m. near the 102 mile marker, and multiple units were at the scene putting the fire out.

The truck was hauling paper. It is unknown what caused the fire.

Traffic was stopped as a result of the wreck. One lane reopened around 11 a.m.

All lanes were reopened by 5 p.m.
