LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Western Kentucky University junior Molly Matney has been crowned Miss Kentucky.
The 20-year-old agriculture student won the pageant competing as Miss Mammoth Cave Area. She will represent Kentucky in the Miss America Pageant in September in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Matney's platform is farm fit - she wants to teach children how to stay healthy by eating local fruits and vegetables.
Miss Lexington, Jacquelyn Crawford, was voted first runner up.
