Police arrest man in connection to Winchester arson, woman and dog rescued

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT)- Firefighters rescued a woman and dog after two trailers caught fire in a Winchester trailer park.

Fire officials say the fire broke out in a trailer on Kiwi Drive Monday morning. Winchester Police say they have charged Tim Isaacs with arson for setting the fire. He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center.

They say the fire spread from one trailer to another. A woman and dog that were living in the home where the fire began were both rescued by firefighters. The woman was taken to the hospital with no serious injuries. Firefighters say their home has extensive damage.

Officials say the other trailer involved only has minor damage. The woman living in the home was able to escape.
