LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman is charged with DUI following an injury crash.
Deputies in Laurel County arrested Kayla Cornett Thursday afternoon.
She crashed on High Moore Laurel Road, deputies said. Her passenger along with the driver of the other vehicle were injured, according to a release from the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.
While she was being booked into jail, officials found drugs and drug paraphernalia that she said she did not have, the release noted.
Cornett is charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and promoting contraband, among other charges. She also had a warrant for failure to appear, deputies said.
