Benny Snell breaks all-time Kentucky rushing record in final game

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky Running Back Benny Snell has broken the Wildcats' all-time rushing record in his final game.

The junior, who is leaving for the NFL Draft following the Citrus Bowl, needed 108 yards to break Sonny Collins' record of 3,836 yards.

Collins' record came by playing four years at Kentucky while Snell eclipsed the total in just three years.

Snell finished the game with 26 carries for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

Snell ran for more than 1,400 yards in his final season, scoring 16 rushing touchdowns.
