LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Patriots, a semi-pro football team based out of Berea, will play for the Alliance Football championship on Saturday. The Patriots will face the Knoxville Knights at Madison Southern High School.
Former Kentucky running back Tony Dixon led the Knights to an 11-1 regular season record, which was the best in the AFL.
The Alliance Football League is made up of nine teams from across the south and Midwest. The AFL has been around since 2006.
