LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Louisville athletic director Vince Tyra and Purdue coach Jeff Brohm met on Tuesday, according to CBS Sports.
Brohm, who was born in Louisville and played quarterback for the Cardinals, met with Tyra in central Indiana about the school’s football coaching vacancy. CBS Sports is reporting a decision from Brohm is expected as early as Wednesday.
Brohm is 13-12 in his two season as the Boilermakers’ coach.
Louisville fired Bobby Petrino on Nov. 11 after his team’s 2-8 start to the season.
