Catholic wins offensive struggle 43-42 over Dunbar

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) Offense was tough to come by Friday night at the S.T. Roach Sports Center, but when it mattered most, LexCath had the final say.

Ben Johnson’s 3-pointer with one second to go lifting Lexington Catholic 43-42 over Dunbar in a 43rd district battle.

The last lead Catholic enjoyed, before the game-winning shot, was with 4:25 remaining in the 2nd quarter. Dunbar, who was led in scoring by senior Grayson Shively’s 12 points, led for the majority of the second half.
The Knights have now defeated Dunbar in each of the last four meetings.
