ESPN admits it accidentally leaked women's NCAA Tournament graphics; Kentucky a 6 seed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - ESPN accidentally leaked its own bracket reveal on air Monday ahead of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Selection Show.

Tweets showing screenshots of coverage revealed Kentucky as a 6 seed, playing No. 11 Princeton in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday. ESPN confirmed the bracket was mistakenly posted on ESPNU hours before schedule.

"We will conduct a thorough review of our process to ensure it doesn't happen in the future," an ESPN statement said.

The graphics showed Louisville received a 1 seed, and Tennessee was able to sneak into the tournament as an 11 seed.

The NCAA announced the bracket will now be revealed on ESPN2 at 5 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. on ESPN.

The University of Kentucky women's basketball team canceled a watch party because of the time change.
