Dunbar overcomes Rode's 31 to beat LCA 65-58

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) The start of the 2019 calendar year has not been kind to the LCA Eagles. Nate Valetine's Eagles started the season 10-3, but lost to Lexington Catholic 54-49 in overtime on January 2nd, then fell to Dunbar 65-58 Friday night.

The Bulldogs trailed by eleven on two occasions in the 3rd quarter on Will Hacker's 3-pointers, but Dunbar fought back behind Jared Gadd's 24 points and Max VanDyke's timely 4th quarter trifectas.
