Dunbar's Matt Halpin wins state tennis championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Dunbar senior Matt Halpin was the top-seeded player in this year's KHSAA state tennis championships and he lived up to the hype to win the state title.

He beat Trinity's Brandon Chou in Saturday's finals. After losing the first set 7-6, Matt bounced back to win the second set 6-1 and won the final-set tiebreaker to win the match.
