Durr sparks Louisville past Kentucky in Top 20 tilt

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) -- Behind 32 points from Asia Durr, No. 5 Louisville held off No. 19 Kentucky 80-75 Sunday at the KFC Yum! Center.

The Wildcats outscored the Cardinals 23-13 in the fourth quarter, but Louisville made just enough free throws to hold off the rally.

Five Cardinals finished in double figures, while Kentucky had three players finish in double figures.

Freshman Rhyne Howard led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Taylor Murray added 18 points and Maci Morris scored 11 points.

Kentucky (9-1) returns to action on December 15 at home against Middle Tennessee. Tip-off is set for 1:00 on a game you can see on the SEC Network.

Louisville (10-0) hosts Northern Kentucky on December 15 at 11:30am.
