ESPN GameDay set to return to Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - ESPN's College GameDay will return to Lexington for the Tennessee-Kentucky game on Feb. 16.

The game will be played at Rupp Arena with tip-off set for 8 p.m. The GameDay broadcasts, however, will originate from Memorial Coliseum. The Coliseum is home to the UK women's basketball team, UK volleyball and UK gymnastics.

UK has never hosted GameDay twice in one season. This is just the second time ESPN has brought the shows to a school two times in one season.

ESPN and UK will pay homage to the Tennessee-Kentucky series by broadcasting from the Coliseum, the arena that has hosted a number of those games through the years.

Seats for the show will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. with the live show starting at 11 a.m.

Normal game-day policies at Rupp Arena will be in place in Memorial Coliseum, including the bag policy that requires that bags do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". You can read UK's full game plan for the day here.

Parking will be available in the parking lot north of the Joe Craft Center, the lot between the Wildcat Coal Lodge and Rose Street, the student center lot and the South Limestone Garage (parking structure No. 5).
