TOLEDO, OH (WKYT) - The NFL Combine will be held Feb. 27 through March 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. A total of 326 players were invited to work out at the event in front of NFL scouts and a former Franklin Co. quarterback will be there.
Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside earned an invitation to the combine.
Woodside leaves Toledo as the school’s all-time leader in passing yards (10,514 yards) and passing touchdowns (93 TDs). In 2017, Woodside earned MAC Offensive Player of the Year and the Vern Smith Leadership Award as the conference’s top overall player after throwing for 3,882 yards and 28 touchdowns.
In 2016, Woodside set single-season school records with 4,129 passing yards and a Football Bowl Subdivision-best 45 touchdown passes.
