LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A former University of Kentucky football player is transitioning to reality television as he will appear on popular MTV reality show "Ex on the Beach 2."
Defensive back JD Harmon, who played for the Wildcats from 2012-2016, will appear as one of the exes on the show, which premieres Dec. 20.
The dating show places singles with their exes in one setting. Harmon is believed to be the ex of Maya Benberry, who appeared on "Catching Kelce." All of the singles on the show have previously appeared on reality television shows including "Teen Mom," "Big Brother" and "The Bachelorette."
Harmon, who is from Paducah, played in more than 40 games for Kentucky and had seven interceptions and three forced fumbles during his time in Lexington.
