Former Wildcat named receivers coach at Penn State

Happy Valley Former UK receiver and Purdue interim coach Gerad Parker is the new wide receivers coach at Penn State.

Parker, who played at Lawrence Co., spent the past two seasons at Duke. He also coached at Cincinnati.

Parker replaces David Corley, who was fired after one season with the Nittany Lions.

When Parker left Lawrence Co. in 1999, he was the state’s all-time leader in career receiving yards, receptions and receiving touchdowns.
