GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Georgetown College defensive back Starr Thompson was named a first-team All-America by the American Football Coaches Association, the school announced on Thursday.
Thompson, a senior from Crestwood, Ky., led the Tigers’ defense with 106 tackles. His 55 assisted tackles ranks 10th all-time at Georgetown. Thompson also finished with six pass breakups and three interceptions.
Landon Corolla (DL) and JJ Ogbogu (WR) were named honorable mention All-America.
