Before she was a standout at Lexington Catholic, Briana Green dreamed of being the first woman to play in the NBA.
Green's dream of being a professional came true, only now she's wearing the iconic uniform of the Harlem Globetrotters.
"Being a Globetrotter is just as amazing because it's not often," Green said of being one of three females on the team. "I'm the 15th female. We've got to represent the ladies. We're more than capable of doing anything."
She's now "Hoops" Green and the Trotters will play in Rupp Arena on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
"When you come to the show, with me, I like to just get involved with the crowd. I have a lot of crowd interaction," she said.
Green is fan favorite, known for her ball handling skills.
"My specialty is dribbling, so you'll see me showcase my dribbling skills, with the tricks and all that stuff. I just have a lot of fun. I always have a smile on my face."
Green led Lexington Catholic to back-to-back state championships in 2005 and 2006. After high school, Green played at Texas- El Paso.
The Globetrotters are entering their 92nd season. Green joined the team last year.
