NEW YORK (WKYT) - The New York Knicks have officially waived Enes Kanter. The former Kentucky big man is making $18.6 million this year, but his contract is set to expire.
The trade deadline expired on Thursday without any teams showing interest in Kanter.
Kanter is averaging 14 points and 10.5 rebounds this season, but recently was demoted to fourth-string.
