Kentucky blows past Portland to advance to NCAA Soccer Sweet 16

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- No. 3 national seed Kentucky opened NCAA Tournament play on Sunday with a 4-0 rout of Portland to advance to the Sweet 16.

Kalil ElMedkhar opened the scoring for the Wildcats and finished with two goals and Conference USA Player of the Year JJ Williams also scored two goals in the win.

Kentucky will host either Lipscomb or Central Florida next weekend in the Sweet 16.
