LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky quarterback Danny Clark says he plans to transfer to another school for the 2019 season.
Clark tweeted Tuesday afternoon he came to the decision to transfer after "thinking and praying about this for months."
The redshirt freshman from Columbus, Ohio played in two games for Kentucky, recording one rushing touchdown against Murray State. He also took a snap in Kentucky's come-from-behind victory against Missouri, but he nearly fumbled while converting a short-yardage first down on a carry.
Clark was the third-string quarterback behind Terry Wilson and Gunnar Hoak.
"I have a lot to offer a team and I want to play for a school that fits my style of play more," Clark said.
