LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Behind 17 kills from SEC Player of the Year Leah Edmond, No. 10 Kentucky swept Murray State 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-19) in the opening round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
Alli Stumler had 12 kills for Kentucky and Brooke Morgan followed suit with 10 kills.
With the win, Kentucky extends its winning streak to 22 matches, two shy of the all-time program record. The Wildcats (25-4) will host Purdue Saturday night at 7pm in the Round of 32.
