Kentucky sweeps Purdue to advance to Sweet 16

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Leah Edmond and Brooke Morgan combined for 25 kills Saturday night and No. 10 Kentucky swept Purdue 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-14) to advance to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament.

The Wildcats finished with 49 kills and despite 20 attack errors, they advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second straight season.

In the regional semifinals, Kentucky will face Nebraska. The Cornhuskers eliminated the Wildcats in the 2017 postseason.
