McCracken County edges Trinity 6-5 in state semifinals

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Tied 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning, McCracken County hit a sacrifice fly to beat Trinity 6-5 to advance to Sunday's KHSAA state championship game.

Grant Davis drove in three runs for the Mustangs and they pounded out 14 hits as a team. They will face Tates Creek Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
