INDIANAPOLIS (WKYT) - The Kentucky Wildcats will have a lot to improve on following a 118-84 blowout loss to the Duke Blue Devils.

No. 4 Duke got out to an early lead and never looked back at the State Farm Champions Classic Tuesday night, as the Blue Devils went into halftime with a 17-point lead. The lead would extend throughout the second half as the No. 2 Wildcats were unable to mount a comeback.

Freshman RJ Barrett led the Blue Devils with 33 points on 13-26 shooting, while freshman Zion Williamson was incredibly efficient from the floor, scoring 28 on 11-13 shooting. Duke would go on to shoot over 50 percent from the floor.

Freshman Keldon Johnson led Kentucky with 23 while grad transfer Reid Travis scored 22 in his Wildcats debut.

Duke was able to limit turnovers, as the Blue Devils had a significant turnover margin.
