No. 4 Georgetown nearly doubles up Central Penn in season opener

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- No. 4 Georgetown opened the college basketball season with a 112-64 win over Central Penn Sunday at Alumni Gym.

Troy Steward threw down a vicious alley-oop and led the Tigers with 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Murshid Randle hit four triples in a 23-point performance.

Georgetown returns to action on October 30 when they host Miami University Middletown at 7pm.
