No. 4 UK set to host No. 2 Indiana in men's soccer

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - No. 4 Kentucky faces No. 2 Indiana on Wednesday in battle of nationally-ranked men's soccer teams.

For the Wildcats, it's the program's highest ranking ever. UK is off to its best start in school history (8-0-1, 3-0 Conference USA). Indiana (9-1-0, 3-0 Big Ten) is undefeated in its last nine games.

“It’s two highly ranked teams,” Kentucky Head Coach Johan Cedergren said. “Two teams that are having good seasons … Any time you can get a midweek non-conference game where it’s two top teams playing each other, hopefully we can get The Big Blue Nation out to support us.”

Junior co-captain JJ Williams leads Kentucky with seven goals this season, tied for 17th nationally.
