LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A pair of talented high school football players from Central Kentucky chose to sign with nearby Division I programs in neighboring states on Wednesday.
Frederick Douglass High School quarterback Cam Jones signed with the University of Cincinnati. The 6-foot-8, 4-star signal caller says he chose the Bearcats because they plan to give him an opportunity to play quarterback, while many other schools encouraged him to switch positions.
At Scott County High School, offensive lineman Bryan Hudson signed to play at Virginia Tech, turning down offers from Alabama and Florida. Hudson, who committed to VA-Tech early, said it was a program that felt like home and a place that was a good fit for him.
