LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) The KHSAA Class 3A football state title game was sensational, but what happened afterwards was not. After Central defeated Corbin 20-19, players from both sides were shaking hands and that's when a fight began on the Corbin sidelines.
A player from Central began taunting the Redhounds' fans when he was punched by a Corbin player.
For the next minute, players on both teams threw punches, players on the ground were kicked, and it was an all out melee.
Police, coaches from Central and Corbin, and players from both teams tried to restore order and then eventually had to be separated as everything went back to normal.
No word yet if charges will be filed, if anyone was hurt, or if any punishment will be handed down.
