LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky guard Tyler Herro's 24-point performance against Louisville Saturday helped give him SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
This is the third straight week the SEC has awarded the weekly honor to a Kentucky player, and it is already the fourth time this season as the Wildcats prepare to begin conference play. Keldon Johnson and Ashton Hagans have previously received the award.
Herro shot 10 of 13 from the field while making four three-pointers. He also tallied five rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist.
