Top-rated JUCO pitcher lands at Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Former Arkansas pitcher, Jackson Rutledge, who transferred to San Jacinto Junior College, has landed at Kentucky. The player made the announcement on his Twitter account.

Rutledge, a 6-foot-8 right-hander, was rated a top-200 prospect coming out of Summit High School in St. Louis. As a freshman, Rutledge had a 3-0 record with the Razorbacks, with a 3.45 ERA in 12 appearances, which included two starts.

Rutledge throws in the mid-90s. He is rated one of the top JUCO pitchers in the nation.
