Tennessee Titans player and former UK football standout Avery Williamson is back in Lexington and helping a UK fan battling cancer. Williamson will do a free autograph signing this Friday to benefit Sarah Warner Lister.

Williamson, who will begin his third season with the Tennessee Titans, will do the free signing at AllSports in Fayette Mall this Friday, from 6-7 p.m.

For the past ten years, Sarah Warner Lister has served as the executive director at Lexington’s Ronald McDonald House which helps families while their children are in the hospital. Recently Lister was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

Her supporters have started wearing Orange Ribbons to help raise awareness about leukemia as well as promoting the hashtag #TeamSarah.

“I love Kentucky and anytime I’m back, I love meeting members of the BBN,” Williamson said in a press release. “After hearing about Sarah’s battle and how much she has done for so many others, I thought it would be a great idea to rally the BBN for a great cause.”

Last season, Williamson recorded 102 tackles, with 3.5 sacks and an interception.

In addition to his signing for donations, Williamson will give away two tickets to a Titans home game this upcoming season.
