Williamson to miss season with torn ACL

NEW YORK (WKYT) - Jets linebacker Avery Williamson will miss the entire NFL season after suffering a torn ACL on Thursday night in a game against Atlanta.

Williamson, the former Wildcat, was beginning his second season after signing a three-year, $22.5 million deal with New York.

An MRI revealed the tear, which happened in the second quarter.
