Floyd County man accused of riding a horse drunk

Floyd County, Kentucky (WYMT) - A Floyd County man was charged Tuesday with being under the influence while he was riding a horse.

Michael D. Kimmel faces several charges, including DUI, fleeing or evading police, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers say they received a call from Betsy Layne about a man riding a horse under the influence.

When they found Kimmel, we are told he ran from police.

They later caught him at a home in the Justel community.

He faces DUI, fleeing or evading police among other charges.
