Another billboard to aid in search of missing Madison County teen

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - She's been missing for nearly a year, and now, family members of 19-year-old Brookelyn Farthing hope putting up another billboard will help bring about new leads in the case.

Everyday, hundreds, possibly thousands of drivers already see the current billboard on Lancaster Road in Richmond. This weekend, another one is expected to be put up on U.S. 25 in Berea.

Although Kentucky State Police have searched hundreds of acres around the area, they have yet to uncover clues about where Brookelyn went, or who she may have left with.

Farthing's stepfather, Randal Walker, hopes the new billboard will be seen by someone who knows something about Brookelyn's disappearance.

"Everybody else who isn't a part of our family doesn't think about Brooke everyday. This gets everybody else to see this. That's why we moved locations, so that it can be seen every day," Walker told WKYT Wednesday.

Farthing's family has raised the reward for information on her whereabouts from $2,000 to $5,000. Donations can be made at any People's Bank.
