RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Interstate 75 was down to one lane heading south in Madison County.
There was a crash involving a semi and an ambulance in the southbound lanes, just south of exit 87.
Police have not been able to release official information as of yet, but WKYT videographer Brandon Turner says he could see that the ambulance had damage to both the front and back ends. The semi had front-end damage and was resting against a concrete barrier.
Two southbound lanes were closed in that area for more than an hour. Only one lane was open, causing a significant traffic backup.
The ambulance is out of Harlan.
We don't know if anyone was injured.
