LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK Athletics is calling on the Big Blue Nation to fill the seats at Rupp Arena on Friday night.

The NCAA Womens Basketball Regional Finals is happening in Lexington this weekend.

The Kentucky women's basketball team will face off against Washington in a Sweet 16 matchup that tips off at 7:00 p.m.

Kentucky is making its fifth all-time appearance in the Sweet 16, including its fourth trip in the last five seasons.

Coach Matthew Mitchell purchased several lower arena tickets. The Wildcat mascot has been going around town this week giving away those tickets. He's made stops on the UK campus, at Triangle Park and at Fayette Mall. The ticket locations are being announced on the @The_Wildcat and @UKCoachMitchell Twitter accounts.

UK students will receive free admission into sessions that Kentucky plays. You must have your student ID to get tickets.

Fans can buy individual game tickets or tickets for the whole session. All-session tickets are $54 for adults (ages 19-64), $34 for youths (ages 0-18) and seniors (ages 65+). Single-session tickets are also available for the event and are $30 for adults (ages 19-64), $20 for youths (ages 0-18) and seniors (ages 65+).

If the Kentucky women win Friday night, they'll go on to play again Sunday afternoon at one.
