SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Less than a week after a 7-year-old Allen County girl was murdered near Scottsville High School, the community gathered to lay Gabbi Doolin to rest.
The young girl disappeared during a high school football game in Scottsville Saturday. She was found dead in a pond behind the school one hour after she was reported missing.
Her mother says she vanished while she was cheering on her two brothers who were playing a football game Saturday night.
On Thursday, the community came together to help the Doolin family lay their daughter to rest.
Cars lined the streets and hundreds of people attended the service.
State police are staying tight-lipped about their investigation, but they are saying they have not arrested anyone yet.
