LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - People involved in a crash came to the rescue of a child who ended up stuck inside an SUV. The accident happened at 6:30 Thursday morning.

Police say a white SUV pulled off of Idlewild Court and made a left turn onto Loudon Avenue. A black Toyota Scion coming down Loudon Avenue struck the white SUV, causing it to flip over on its side.

There were two people inside each vehicle. No one was hurt, but a child in the SUV was stuck in its car seat. The people in the Scion came to help free the child.

Loudon Avenue was shut down near Shropshire Avenue while police worked to clear the accident. The road reopened around 7:15.
