LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Lexington Police Department said a man was arrested and charged with kidnapping on Saturday morning.

Officers were called to a home on Danielle Lane around 3 a.m. A woman who lives at the home told police that a roommate, Bradford Lyvers, had kicked in her door, entered the home and assaulted her.

The woman is suffering from minor injuries. Police say she ran out of the house and called police from a neighbors house.

When she returned to her home, her two children were missing. Police tell WKYT that Lyvers is a father of one of the children.

Police found Lyvers and the two children at a home in Nicholasville. The children were unharmed.

Lyvers was arrested and charged with first degree burglary and one count of kidnapping.
