Papa John's truck catches fire on Boyle Co. highway

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) A Papa John's truck caught fire in Boyle County Friday. The fire happened at Highways 34 and 2168. The driver and a passenger in the truck made it out safely. The fire destroyed the trailer. It was hauling pizza boxes and onions.

"I noticed the flames," says Mike Wilder, Director of Emergency Management. "It wasn't very hard to see the flames visible inside Danville. I got out here, you couldn't see flames but smoke, it was rolling pretty good when I got here."

Officials say the fire department had the fire under control in a matter of minutes.
