Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR), in partnership with LFUCG and the Office of Housing, Advocacy and Community Development, are hosting a free to the public Housing Fair & Expo on Saturday, May 21. This one-stop-shop event will provide all the information needed to understand the real estate market in Central and Southeastern Kentucky!
The Housing Fair & Expo will be held 10 am – 2 pm at the LBAR offices at 2250 Regency Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40503 and will feature sessions from industry professionals that will cover every aspect of the housing market including buying, selling, renting, financing, credit and more. There will be resources from lenders, inspectors, housing specialists, service providers and many other vendors you can talk to, ask questions and receive materials related to your current situation.
Food trucks will be on-site and attendees are encouraged to register online in advance, as session seating is limited. On-site registration is available and will begin at 9:30 am. When available, sessions will be open to walk-ins. Attendees who register online will also be entered to win door prizes (including a Blackstone Grill, YETI Cooler, and Lowe’s Gift Cards).
“This event brings together every component of real estate in one place and gives the public a chance to learn more about the market, whether they are renting, looking to buy, sell or even just understanding what it would mean to stay put,” said Rusty Underwood, president of LBAR. “The market is moving fast in this region - consumers have lots of questions but don’t always know where or who to turn to. This gives them that opportunity.”
*When consumers are in the market to buy or sell, they turn to Lbar.com, the 2nd largest local real estate association in the state covering over 30 counties with over 4,000 members and the most up-to date local housing listings.
