Hatcher suspended for first two UK games

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Junior defensive end Jason Hatcher has been suspended for UK’s first two games of the season. Head coach Mark Stoops made the announcement on Saturday after the Wildcats’ open Fan Day practice.

Stoops said Hatcher will serve the suspension for a violation of team rules.

Hatcher, a junior from Louisville, has started six games for the Cats. He is being counted upon to help fill the shoes of Bud Dupree and Za’Darius Smith, both of whom have graduated and now are playing in the NFL.
