SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (AP) - Jimmy Walker has company atop the leaderboard in the PGA Championship after beginning the second round with a one-stroke lead.
Robert Streb fired the best round so far in the tournament, a 7-under 63 that leaves him tied with Walker at Baltusrol Golf Club. Streb had eight birdies and a bogey to become the 28th player to shoot a 63 in a major. He closed with three birdies in his last four holes for a 9-under total.
Walker followed Thursday's 65 with a 4-under 66 that included a bogey on his final hole.
Emiliano Grillo and defending champion Jason Day share third at minus-7. Reigning British Open champ Henrik Stenson is three strokes back and one ahead of Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka and Martin Kaymer.
Jordan Spieth (SPEETH) shot a 67 and is now 3-under for the tournament.
Phil Mickelson has extended his stay in New Jersey, although his 1-over total leaves him 10 shots back.
Rory McIlroy can fly out of Newark tonight. He missed the cut at 3 over.
