Roy Kidd: A Matter of Pride

From former Colonels to future Colonels EKU maroon was on every corner of the town.

It was a sea of maroon at EKU’s Center for the Arts as hundreds came to pay their respects to legendary Colonel coach Roy Kidd.

Saturday marked the first Eastern Kentucky University football game after the team’s former coach, Roy Kidd, died on Tuesday.

Eastern Kentucky University sent out a statement Tuesday morning notifying the campus community about Kidd’s passing.
