LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Nonstop flights from Lexington to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport are coming back.

Beginning May 7, 2025, Delta will resume its year-round flights to LaGuardia, previously offered in Lexington before the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Hardly a week has gone by when we haven’t heard from someone in our community asking about the return of non-stop service from Lexington to New York, so we are thrilled Delta Air Lines is announcing this flight will return to Blue Grass Airport in May 2025″ said Eric Frankl, president & CEO at Blue Grass Airport.  “Let’s now turn that enthusiasm into commitment by flying local and ensuring the success of this New York route. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Delta for their continued partnership and commitment to serving our region for more than 78 years.”

Tickets will be available for sale on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at www.delta.com.

This new flight will be operated on a CRJ-900 aircraft with the following schedule:

  • Time: 7:00 AM
  • Arrival Airport: New York, NY (LGA)
  • Arrival Time: 8:50 AM

Return:

  • Airport: New York, NY (LGA)
  • Time: 7:59 PM
  • Arrival Airport: Lexington, KY
  • Arrival Time: 9:49 PM
